This policy explains what data Jobak collects, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Account info (name, email, phone), profile info (area, service category, bio, photos), service requests (description, area, urgency), reviews and complaints, technical data (cookies for login + language + theme preferences).
How we use it
To create your account; to match customers with providers; to display provider profiles publicly; to send important account emails (signup confirmation, password reset); to improve the Service; to investigate complaints and abuse.
What we share
Approved provider profiles are public — visible to anyone browsing Jobak. Customer requests are shared with the matched provider. We do not sell personal data. We use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email) — these partners only process your data on our behalf.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on Supabase's servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Backups run automatically every 24 hours.
Your rights
You can: view your profile and update it anytime; request deletion of your account (email hello@jobak.jo); request a copy of your personal data; opt out of non-essential emails.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies: one for your login session, one for your language preference, one for your light/dark theme preference. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Jobak is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site.
